Mani Escapes was founded by Sheri and Pierros, two people in love with the Mani Peninsula and want to share it with the world — quietly, sustainably, and at your own pace.
Our story
The Mani Peninsula is one of the last wild corners of Greece. No package tours. No crowds. Just ancient tower villages, dramatic sea cliffs, and water so clear you can see the bottom at 10 metres. We wanted visitors to experience it the way locals do — slowly, off the beaten path, with the wind in their hair.
We started with electric bikes. The MATE X and Rad Power Rhino let riders tackle the steep Mani hillsides without breaking a sweat, reaching villages and viewpoints that are simply inaccessible by car. Then we added the Tofinou 9.7m electric sailboat — hull #11, Boat of the Year 2020 — so guests could explore the coastline from the sea, drifting silently into coves that no road reaches.
Today, Mani Escapes is the only operator on the peninsula offering both. Whether you want to ride the ridge above Skoutari, sail to Trinisa (3 islands), or do both in the same day — we make it easy, safe, and unforgettable.
